Hanna, who served as the Executive Director of the Columbus Zoo for many years, is known for putting on performances that are not only one of a kind but also entertaining and motivational for his audiences of all ages. This live show is appropriate for all ages and features a number of Jungle Jack’s most beloved animal companions, in addition to fascinating and hilarious anecdotes and footage from his travels all over the world. In 1978, he was appointed Director of the deteriorating Columbus Zoo in Columbus, Ohio, which catapulted him to the forefront of national attention. Not only did he make the zoo into a facility that could serve as a model for others, but he also used his expertise in the media to make the Columbus Zoo a household name. Animal expert Jack Hanna has become a household name in large part due to the success of his nationally syndicated television show, “Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures,” as well as his hundreds of appearances on shows such as “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Good Morning America,” and “Larry King Live.” In addition, he has made appearances on television shows such as “Hollywood Squares,” “The Maury Povich Show,” “Entertainment Tonight,” and a number of different news programs alongside his animal companions.
